Welcome
At St James’ CE Primary School. we are delighted to welcome every child and family into our school community. We celebrate that every child is unique and full of potential, and we are committed to nurturing everyone so they can flourish in every aspect of life.
Our school is a place where Christian values are lived out daily—where friendship, respect, and trust are at the heart of all we do. We celebrate the richness of our diverse community, recognising that our differences make us stronger. Children and families of all cultures, faiths, and backgrounds are warmly welcomed, and we learn from one another so that everyone feels valued and included.
Central to our vision is our BELONG curriculum, which helps every child to:
- Believe in our Christian Values and live them out everyday
- Show Empathy and celebrate our diverse community
- Develop essential Life Skills building knowledge and understanding of our world
- Embrace Opportunities and learn from first hand experiences
- Nurture everyone and supporting mental health and wellbeing
- Strive for Greatness in all that they do
Each year we will set our top priorities to help us as a school, staff and community continue to develop to be the best we can be. We will send out updates for parents/carers regularly so they can see what we have been working on in school.
St James’ CE Primary School is a member of Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust (LDST). LDST is a family of schools that welcomes young people of all faiths and none, working together to provide an excellent education built on distinctly Christian values.
