Year One
Throughout Year One our class Value is ‘Trust’.
Trusting someone means that you think they are reliable, you have confidence in them and you feel safe with them.
We learn to build trust with our friends, the adults within school and with God.
Our class Bible story is ‘Jesus and the 12 Disciples’. In this story Jesus asked twelve men to be his disciples and to follow him. All these men trusted and believed what Jesus said and followed his example. They helped Jesus tell others about God- they were fishers of men!
We have created a piece of art based on ‘Jesus and the Fishermen and this can be found at the front of the school hall.’
