Compassion

Compassion at St James’

“For I was hungry and you gave me food” (Mt 25:35).

At St James’ we believe in walking hand in hand with Jesus, living out the gospel values that he showed us. Compassion is showed through our sponsorship of a little Ghanian child called ‘Prosper’. The children at St James’ write or draw pictures to Prosper in Ghana to let him know our news. We have also received kind messages back. In addition to this, our Lighthouse group have recently sponsored through Compassion, a further two children which we have added to our ever growing family!
