We are excited to be continuing on our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) journey this year, transforming our playtimes and outdoor spaces to provide richer, more inclusive opportunities for every child.
Through OPAL, children will have greater opportunities to be active, use their imagination, solve problems, take appropriate risks, build friendships and develop independence and resilience. High-quality play supports children’s physical, social and emotional development and helps them develop many of the skills they need to become confident, happy and successful learners.
We will also be introducing family OPAL sessions this year, inviting our community to come and take part in play and see the benefits first hand.
