PALS

St James’ PALS

(Pupils Actively Seeking their Light in Service to Others)

Here at St James’ Church of England Primary School, some of the Year 6 pupils have a very important job. Every break time, and lunch time, our Year 6 pupils display the Christian Values of 'Friendship' and 'Compassion' towards children in the playground who may be feeling lonely or finding it difficult to join in with their friends.

Jesus said to James, “Come and follow me and I will make you fishers of men” Matthew 4:19

We believe, that through teaching all of the Christian Values, these children are 'the fishers of men’ and like James, will support Jesus' teachings - they are St James’ PALS!

They are a friend to all who need it - for we believe that "...if one falls down, his friend can help him up..." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.
